As I mentioned on Facebook, Eli is teething in a major way and I wanted him to have some to chew on. These aren't quite what I was expecting. They look like an oval piece of styrofoam. But Eli really likes them, so whatever. I can verify that they don't taste like styrofoam though.
Happy Valentine's Day to me! If you were here I would give you the coconut piece if you wanted it, because I don't like coconut. It's like eating dandruff.
Orajel kind of freaks me out because of the risk of seizure I have heard about. They didn't have any of the brand I wanted to try, so I thought I would give this homeopathic version of Orajel a try.
For a fat baby in my life
I have heard really good things about these liners. They were $1.99 at Walgreens and they are the brand Jordana. The top one is a retractable liner in black and the bottom is a liquid liner with a felt tip in black.
The top is a swatch of the retractable liner and the bottom is the liquid liner. The retractable doesn't blow me away but it's fine for $1.99. But I think I'm going to like the liquid liner a lot!
I have been wanting a fluffy brush to blend eyeshadow colors. This Sonia Kashuk one was on clearance so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Close up of the brush
Gorgeous shade of purple nail polish. I've been trying different nail polish brands and I don't see a major difference (yet) between the expensive ones and the cheapies. This Wet 'n' Wild bottle was $1.99 I believe. Beautiful shade of purple.
Eli is obsessed with these things. I have to hide them because he freaks if he sees them and can't have one immediately. The Target brand is a great value at $0.89 and the Happy Baby were $1.17 each. I usually stick to the cheaper Target brand, but I was feeling adventurous so I branched out.
Running out of face wash and wanted to try something different.
Other Daily Tidbits:
::Had Cracker Barrel for breakfast. Any day that starts with CB is bound to be good. Also spell check just taught me that I apparently have been spelling "barrel" wrong for awhile now. Oops.::
::I have now tried 3 times to watch the latest episode of Scandal and still haven't finished it::
::Speaking of TV, I love that show Emily Owens, M.D. I think Mamie Gummer definitely inherited some of her mom's (Meryl Streep) talent. She's pretty but without being intimidating, too::
::My grandmother had surgery to amputate her leg this week. She had a very aggressive sarcoma and this was her best option. She was able to keep her patella, which should make the transition with a prosthesis easier. We would appreciate prayers::
::I have been house hunting all week. Well, online at least :) Nothing has totally wowed me yet. I'm not feeling too apt to fall in love with anything until we get our house sold. Fingers crossed!::
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
PS- Let me know if you have any advice for teething!

Hylands teething tablets are a lifesaver. They are all natural so no side effects either. They are normally in a strange place, like on the vitamin aisle in walmart. Good luck!
I'll take the coconut piece! I personally love chocolate covered dandruff...you could give me a whole box of it and I would be very happy!
